My wife is pregnant, and we have no insurance. What can i do?

I have a job and i get paid $18 an hour, but i haven't been getting the hours I need. In fact I haven't worked at all in the last two weeks. I have been with this company for about 3 months and I have just started not getting hours. Before my wife got pregnant i was working and got laid off before we found out she was. I live in Escondido, CA. we just moved here from ohio for this job, she was getting an income from ohio for taking care of her MR/DD sister. Unfortunately her grandmother ruined that by telling the company she worked for that we were moving. Now I make to much for medi-cal because of my hourly wage, and not enough for AIM. I am so worried and need good advice, please no scams or frauds.
