Question about Madagascar 2?

I just watched madagascar 2 in math cl (I know) and I was just surfing the web and saw that Patton Oswalt, one of my favorite comedians was in it. Apparently he was "Prince Dreamer"... Does anyone know what character this was? Thanks!
