I think you should tell the truth but say that whilst you realise that a reasonable deduction for administration costs is entirely appropriate, you would be most grateful if ... blah, blah, blah. If it took you a bit of time to actually sort out what you are going to do, just admit to that and throw yourself on their mercy. I think you are more likely to get it back that way - they will see the lies as a personal insult to the intelligence and a challenge and be against you.

Who doesn't? Although I prefer the old school zombies that stumbled around like in "Night of the Liing Dead", "The Serpent and the Rainbow" or MJ's "Thriller" video. Not the newer flesh eaters that can run full speed, those are ghouls, not zombies. And why do they kill someone, chew on the victim for 30 seconds, then when see a live person, they leave their meal behind to chase the live person? Does human flesh go bad that fast?

Go to Home Depot and tell them what you need to do. They have EVERYTHING. I just looked on their website and found a spackling wall repair kit for only $7.98. It says it can repair a hole up to 3 inches in diameter, so you may want to buy more than one. It would still be cheaper than what they would take out of your bond, though, right?
