Help! dog throwing up question?

Dogs normally eat gr or dirt and leaves when they have an upset stomach. If he got into any people food or garbage that may be the problem. Also your food brand might not be sitting well with him. Don't worry about fasting him etc. that will only upset his stomach more. Make sure he drinks lots of water and has a normal amount of food. Monitor him to make sure he's not continuing eating things like that. If he continues to be sick after a day or two I would contact the vet. Otherwise it will probably p. Dogs eat those things to make themselves throw up because something's not sitting properly with them. The throwing up will be good as long as he doesn't do it regularly. He should settle down very soon, my dogs always have gotten over it. It's a very common thing.
