I have seen people argue that God could have created himself. If he did, what is the 1st step in this process?

in my opinion this is kind of the same thing as what creationsist claim that is wrong...that from "nothing" came "something"...i mean where did God come from if there was nothing?and if God came from someone or something else,where did this came from?i think one way are another,there is some truth in Darwin's idea that life (God or humans) were accidently created
