In the long term would it not be better to let it all crash and rebuild like the other depression ?

we all know these bailouts are only band-aids to cover mismanagement, skimming & excessive self-indulgence ( like the golden age) would we not be further ahead if we just let it burn and rebuild, than trying to patch up a system that rewards narcissism and greed.
